Crochet, crochet, crochet...

Ok so crochet is my new favourite craft, i guess you could say I'm a bit obsessed! Thanks to my last Christmas present from my sister, a great chunky book about crochet, full of stitches and techniques and loads of lovely patterns with which to practise them. I took to it like a duck to water, and find it much easier and less fiddly than knitting, as you only have one stitch at a time on your hook, rather than lots and lots that you can drop and confuse yourself with like in knitting! And once you've learnt a few basic stitches you can make a great variety of things from bags and clothing to blankets and toys. Making something 3D is as easy a flat piece so the possibilities are endless!

If you fancy giving it a go I will be starting classes this October at the fabulous Gallery at Slaithwaite! Details below!
